Rohrbach/Ilm: 26.08.2015 – sera, successful supplier of aquarium-related products for more than 40 years, is now banking on the innovative Marketing Information Management (MIM) solution by the software producer Contentserv to optimize the provision of data such as images, product texts and videos. In addition, sera is entering into new markets while also further expanding its online business. The web-based Marketing Information Management solution by Contentserv will replace various isolated applications and not only ensure more flexibility but also secure the quality and timeliness of data via automated workflows.

Sera has quickly become one of the most important manufacturers of aquarium products worldwide, and international demand is growing for sera quality “made in Germany”. Company founder Josef Ravnak and his wife Anny have a clear vision of promoting aquarium-related hobbies. This new software will replace the previous isolated solutions. The individual process support via workflows will not only be a huge time saver but also secure the data quality. In addition, fixed design templates will ensure the company’s corporate identity across the world.

Contentserv will implement this project at sera in cooperation with its implementation partner SDZeCOM.
