Baar, Switzerland — August 28th, 2019 — Contentserv, the world-leading product information management (PIM) provider, registered yet another strong performance in the second quarter of 2019 with its Product Experience Platform (PXP). When combined with its successful first-quarter results, the first semester shows a 28% revenue increase compared to the same period last year.
“Building off the success achieved during our first quarter, Contentserv added 13 new global customers to its portfolio in Q2, including well-known brands such as Rosenthal, Marantec and Sakata Seed. It is noteworthy to mention that we’ve achieved outstanding sales results in the Japanese and DACH markets,” says Patricia Kastner, President of Contentserv.
In addition to its Q2 revenue growth, Contentserv added market specialists to its corporate management team in line with its 2019 “Excellence” strategy. Marcus Ruppert, VP Business Solution Design & Services, and Sarah Schneider, Global Process Manager, were brought on board to address the challenges associated with such a rapid growth. To guarantee customer project stability and security, Romain Le Groumellec, Director of Operations for France, and Noriyoshi Tomozawa, Professional Services Manager for Japan, were also added to the team. Earlier in that quarter, Dr. Esther Blatter assumed the role of Marketing Director for DACH, while APAC added Manila-based, experienced Field Marketing Manager, Ann Villoria, to accelerate the regional market expansion.
This quarter also marked strategic investment decisions for the company’s future. After a host of discussions with various investors, Investcorp emerged as the clear choice for Contentserv; the partnership was finalized in mid-July.
