The world-renowned manufacturer of premium tools is now relying on the innovative Marketing Software by CONTENTSERV and thereby optimizes its international market presence.

Rohrbach/Ilm: 06.10.2015 – GEDORE, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of professional quality tools, is setting new standards while further optimizing its international communication. GEDORE is now using the Marketing Software Solution by CONTENTSERV: From now on, the web-based Marketing Information Management solution (MIM) will be used to centrally manage product information, images and texts before making the content available media-neutrally for international communication. The company places particular importance on simple use and wants a fully-integrated system that makes it possible to produce and publish catalogs with a volume of up to 700 pages and price lists in up to 25 languages.

It all began with wrenches, back in 1919. Today, GEDORE, successful premium manufacturer of quality tools, offers more than 16,000 products. This is the broadest range of products of all European tool manufacturers. A total of 2,700 employees work every day to produce tools of the highest quality, tools that provide professional users with certified work safety, high load capacity and technological perfection.  Aside from workshop equipment, wrenches and pullers, GEDORE also manufactures torque wrenches and screw drivers. Product diversity present internationally

GEDORE publishes catalogs and price lists in various languages in order to be able to market its broad range of products on an international basis. The company is planning on creating up to 25 different language variants so that the products can be presented even more target-oriented in the respective languages. CONTENSTERV’s Marketing Information Software will make the creation of comprehensive print products with up to 700 pages considerably easier and more efficient. The software solution enables GEDORE to manage its content, i.e. images and product texts media-neutrally while the central Translation Management facilitates the translation of content into all necessary languages. This saves both time and money. A simple and intuitive interface guarantees optimal user-friendliness.

Perfect solution for your international communication

CONTENTSERV’s web-based software solution enables the automatic supply of various channels with diverse product information: The Product Information Management System (PIM-System), the centerpiece of the Contentserv MIM solution, takes over the central management of all product and marketing information as well as its automated output – online as well as offline. The fully integrated MAM system (Media Asset Management) centrally manages all media contents such as images, videos or illustrations before making them accessible to all parties involved- both nationally and internationally. In addition, Contentserv’s Translation Management will be used to meet the requirements of the international product communication.
